North Carolina Opportunity Scholarships

The State of North Carolina has expanded the Opportunity Scholarship program to include all families, regardless of income. This scholarship can cover a significant portion—and in some cases, all—of your child’s tuition.

• Who is eligible? Every family in NC with a student entering K-8 (and some Pre-K transitions).

• When to apply: The priority application window typically opens February 1st. We highly recommend applying early as funds are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.

Specialized Needs

Located just minutes from Fort Bragg, we are proud to serve military families. There are several unique grants available specifically for our community:

• Bragg ‘N Barn Scholarships: Local academic and honor roll scholarships for military dependents.

• Folds of Honor & Folded Flag Foundation: Dedicated support for the children of fallen or disabled service members.
• ESA+ Program: Specifically for students with documented disabilities to help cover tuition and required services.

Our Commitment to Our Families

Beyond state and military aid, we offer several internal and religious-based grants:

• FACTS Grant & Aid: After your child is accepted, you can apply for additional financial assistance directly through Saint Patrick Catholic Church via your FACTS account.

• Diocesan Ancestry Grants: The Diocese of Raleigh offers specific tuition assistance for students of African American and Native American ancestry.
