Curriculum

Saint Patrick Catholic School has one classroom per grade. All of our full-time teachers are certified, and we have teacher assistants in preschool through 8th grade. This arrangement keeps our school small and cohesive. The family-like atmosphere gives the students the feeling of “coming home” to school each day.

Our students have their core curriculum work, which includes Reading, English, Spelling, Math, Social Studies, Science and Religion. We also offer them six “specials” classes: they include Library, Physical Education, Art, Music, Spanish, and Computer Skills. These “specials” classes each have their own classroom/lab space, so the children move from classroom to classroom during the day.

School for K-8 begins at 8:00 and ends at 3:05pm.

Saint Patrick Catholic School offers excellent educational opportunities and activities to help mold today’s students into tomorrow’s leaders.

Our curriculum follows the standards laid out by the Catholic Diocese of Raleigh and a detailed parent curriculum overview is available at their website.
