They can come down and borrow one from the office. Our belts have “St. Patrick Catholic School” written on them in sharpie. Please check with your child to see if they have one to return. Please use the following link:  www.treering.com/1015544792994061Yearbook Flyer 22.pdfCOVID UPDATESaint Patrick Catholic School continues being mask optional but recommended. If you wish to change your mask preference email Micaela Shea and your child’s teacher.We are currently entering our twelfth week with < 1% positive COVID 19 cases. As of right now, The Diocese of Raleigh and Saint Patrick Catholic School are hopeful to open the 2022-2023 school year with more normalcy then the past 6 months.  Students will return to eating lunch in the lunchroom, classes will be able to mix during recess and middle schoolers will return to switching classes.  We will closely monitor COVID 19 over the summer and share the exact opening plan with families in August. AFTERCAREWe are now taking drop-ins for aftercare.  If you need your child to stay after school on a drop-in basis, please email Amanda Gonzalez at [email protected]UNIFORM POLICY CHANGESThere are some uniform policy changes that will occur over the remainder of the school year.Sneakers: Students should wear sneakers to school daily, but they do not have to be solid black.  Moving forward sneakers should be “mostly black”.  That means the sole may be white (or a color other than white) and the sides may have an additional color.  For example, the sneaker may have a white Nike Swoosh, New Balance N, Adidas stripes, etc….on the sides of the sneaker.Leggings: students may wear plain, solid black leggings under their school uniform jumper, skirt, or skort in place of tights. Hair bows, headbands, and barrettes: Students may wear any color hair accessory to school.VOLUNTEERING AT ST. PATRICK CATHOLIC SCHOOL REQUIREMENTSWe will be allowing limited volunteers in the school this year. If you want to volunteer at the school, you must complete the volunteer application which includes attending a Safe Environment Training (SET)class. There are some online training courses each month. If you arrive before 7:30 you must stay with your child until carpool starts or take them to morning care.  The tardy bell rings at 8:00am.  If you drop off after 8:00am you must walk your child into the office and sign them in. Afternoon carpool starts at 3:05pm and ends at 3:15. The front office is open from 7:30am to 4:00pm.  Please do not come to or call the office during the afternoon carpool, which is from 3:00 to approximately 3:20.   _____________________________________________________________________Spring Fine Arts Program – Music Class Information for ParentsDear Parents,The Pre-K through 8th grade students have been working on their music selections for the music portion of the Spring Fine Arts Program. We are busy polishing up the final details of the program.The Spring Fine Arts Program will be virtual this year.Students will be filming their portions of the program on the following days:Grades 6, 7 and 8 Tuesday, May 10Grades 3, 4 and 5 Wednesday, May 11Grades Pre-K, Kindergarten, 1 and 2 Thursday, May 12On your child’s day of filming please have your child wear the following to school:Grades Pre-K – 51. Students should wear their nicest school uniform. Uniform shorts, pants, skirts, jumpers and their respective green or white polo shirts/blouses should be worn as well as appropriate socks/tights/leggings. Please no excessive or brightly colored hair accessories.2. During filming only students will not wear fleeces/sweatshirts and they will be asked to remove them. Please be sure they have the appropriate polo/blouse on underneath. School uniform cardigan sweaters may be worn during filming.Grades 6 – 81. Students should wear their nicest school uniform. Uniform shorts, pants, or skirts and their respective green or white polo shirts should be worn as well as appropriate socks/tights/leggings. Please no excessive or brightly colored hair accessories.2. During filming only students will not wear fleeces/sweatshirts/hoodies and they will be asked to remove them. Please be sure they have the appropriate green or white polo on underneath.
