VOLUNTEERING AT ST. PATRICK CATHOLIC SCHOOL REQUIREMENTS

must complete the volunteer application which includes attending a Safe Environment Training
(SET)class. There are a few online trainings this month. Please see below.

In addition to attending the SET training, all volunteers need to complete an application with the

VOLUNTEER IN THE SCHOOL
The PTO works in conjunction with the principal. The organization provides support to the parents and
faculty of the school on behalf of the students. They organize fun activities at the school that go
beyond fundraising. The focus is on bringing the school and families together.
The SAC can be representatives of the school, church, and community. They do not need to be parents
of students enrolled in the school. The council members function in an advisory capacity only on
matters brought up by the principal or pastor. The council provides advice and support to the
administration.

SPECIALS COURSE STANDARDS
Special course standards were sent home on Friday. Please be sure to go over the packet, have the
children sign it, and return it to school by September 10, 2021.

DRESS CODE
Please make sure your child is wearing the correct uniform pieces. The uniform shoe must be a black
sneaker worn every day. They must be in their sneakers to participate in PE class. Please contact the
office if you have any questions.

COVID 19
Thank you to all the parents that are being so diligent in screening your children and keeping them
home when they are not well. We are operating under the guidance of the North Carolina Health and
Human Services (NCDHHS) guidelines. The full COVID 19 Opening plan can be found here. If you have
any questions, please email me at [email protected].
If your child is sick or has been exposed to COVID 19, please let the school know as soon as possible.
You can email Micaela Shea, our Health Coordinator at [email protected] and Christa Larkin,
principal at [email protected] to let us know and we can inform you on how to proceed.
