PRINCIPAL’S CORNER:
Since there won’t be a newsletter next week, on behalf of the faculty and staff, I’d like to wish all families a happy and thankful Thanksgiving holiday now. What I am most thankful for this year is that our school has been able to remain open so far. In order to keep it that way, we all need to remain vigilant about proper protection measures if traveling or gathering in groups. We want everyone to have a safe and satisfying holiday. Please read the letter below from the Diocese of Raleigh Superintendent of School.

SHOUT-OUTS
This week’s Shout-Outs go to:
Isaac C – gr 4 – Isaac always looks around at the end of recess or a class to see if anyone forgot anything. He is a great friend and team player by watching out for others
Zach C – gr 8 – Zach got a shout-out for troubleshooting and fixing the microphone and video on the 8th grade interactive board.
Ms. Shea gave the entire 6th grade a Shout Out for being enthusiastic and curious learners and always asking questions when unsure of something. They have come a long way!
Isobel M and Ruth W – KG – Both of the girls have started leading the class in the morning prayer/blessings before starting snack. They did this without prompting and have encouraged others to join in. Isobel and Ruth have continued to make sure that the other students in class take a few minutes to put prayer first.
Gabriel T – gr 4, and Ramses I.– PreK – Both get Shout-Outs from Ms. Laura for being so friendly every morning when entering the school. They always say Good Morning to Ms. Laura even before Ms. Laura says it, and Gabriel always says “Have a Nice Day” as well.
GRADELINK AND REPORT CARDS
The Gradelink system will be down from November 17 – 22 as teachers finish the Trimester 1 report cards. Report cards will be available for viewing on November 23rd after noon. Paper copies will not be sent home.
